SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB S6 LITE ANDROID UPDATE PROBLEM

Yesterday my tablet prompted me to update to  android 15. For 24 hours it hs been on a permanent boot loop. First is the samsung screen with the android logo and then it goes to just the samsung galaxy screen. It keeps switching on and off. I let it power off completely but that didn't resolve it 

Any advice welcome...

Are you sure? Android 15 isn't out yet. It comes out in a month or two. S24 devices are currently beta testing it

Yes, it prompted me to update and asked if I wanted to schedule it. Now I have an issue as I need to travel from Europe to Asia for volunteer work and need all the apps etc.  That is really strange

That's what confuses me. There is no android 15 for your tablet. Only the s24 has the android 15 beta/experimental version.

My advice for a bugegd update, force shut it off usually by just holding the power button for 10 or so seconds. Enter Recovery mode (some button combination, changes per device), try and wipe the tablet. If that fails, you can get it into a mode where the smart switch pc software will overwrite all data and fix a broken update

I cannot turn it off except by leaving it uncharged and when I start to charge it, it comes on acutomatically and the same loop starts again

tbh it seems this has done in my tablet. I had it on all day yesterday trying to see if it would update but no... finally let it power off. will take it to a repair shop tomorrow but I won't be spending so much on a tablet in the future... I had to buy a cheap phone coz of this issue...

I have the same problem & will never buy Samsung again. I think this is deliberate. Can't turn it on or off!
