Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will not turn on or charge

I was using my Tab S3 yesterday morning and the screen froze and then it turned off. Even though it had been charging overnight and was showing almost full battery, it will not turn on.

Since then, I've tried charging it and carrying out a hard reset (holding down various combinations of buttons: power; power+vol up; power+vol down; power+home) but it's still dead. I bought it new in Sept 2019, so it's barely 18 months old and shouldn't be a battery health issue.

Any thoughts?

No. And it hasn't had any water damage either.

It could well be a virus. Or physically something has gone wrong with maybe the screen. To test it. Hold on power off until ordinarily power menu pops up. Then press volume up. If it makes a sound it's the screen not the actual device otherwise I would believe its completely dead. Or out of battery.
Maybe buy a new battery and test that?

The same thing happened with my phone except it was from me dropping it.
I think it's your screen not your battery

Tried your suggestion - no sound. Guessing it's dead or needs a new battery. I'll try the latter and post back.
