Hello,

GalaxyDAD here. We are a Samsung Electronics Family.
10+ Galaxy products in house.

Yesterday, my wife called me and said, "Help our daughters tablet isn't working!"

Symptoms:
Suddenly went to the security login screen.

Password has changed.

Tablet can't reset without 

Fix:
1. Hold down together (Volume DOWN + Power Button) until tablet power resets.

2. Wait for reboot into login screen.

3. Use original password

We continue on.

Glad you found the reset using hardware keys (rather than within the operating systems interface) proved helpful. I thought you were going to post a horror story about the original password being changed too but it wasnt that bad.

What if I never had a password on my tablet to begin with and it set up a password on its own?
