Samsung Flow connection / verification issues

I'm trying to setup Samsung Flow tetween my Tab S9fe+ and my S23. I open the app on both devices and all seems fine as my tablet see's my phone with a Bluetooth icon. I click on my phone's name and the one time pass code comes up on both my phone and tablet, I click OK on both and then nothing, all I get is the same screen listing my phone. I tried this several times and after around a minute I get a pop-up message stating 'Phone could not be verified'. I have checked that the Flow app is up to date and they both have the same version being 4.9.12.8.

I tried the usual Googling but could not come up with any helpful information. Any help would be really appreciated.
