Dex is integrated to Tablets and i believe phones too. Here is how to use it from the official Samsung website.

It does remove a lot of the older DeX style features, but it seamlessly integrates DeX functionality into Android now. It's really not all that different to DeX in OneUI 7 on tablets except it removes the need to switch to it via the quick launch menu.

Here's a look at how DeX appears on my Tab S8 Ultra in OneUI 7 against my Tab S11 Ultra in OneUI 8. As you can see, there's virtually no visual difference. The scaling is different on the Tab S11 Ultra, so this is universal in DeX and normal android.

Horrible DeX update:

- It doesn't remember the size, position or shape of the apps you have opened so you have to resize and position each time you open
- It Can't pin app. Its a lost of productivity, we have to back the main screen/home/multi screen to simply open 1 app you usually just pin to task bar.
- It can't open more than 4 apps, it kills my productivity.
