Hi, I wanted to know what the difference in chargers are between the 25w & 45w?

I previously bought the 25w super fast charger with a c to c cable included. 

Also how do I make the battery last the longest possible please?

The difference is the speed it takes to charge, and that's all- exactly the amount Im not quite sure, may have to watch a video on that. In terms of battery lasting, I wouldn't worry for longevity as 45W isn't too harsh, but if you're happy with your current charging speed, I wouldn't stress and stick with it.

There are battery settings you can able in settings which limit charging at a certain percentage.

Its good practice to not charge the battery fully, kill then recharge. Try keep above 20%

What difference does it make if I charge the battery fully or not like only until let say 80%?

From an electrical point of view constantly fast charging especially 45w will reduce the life of battery faster than if your charging at 15w. Also depends if your phone can charge at 45w I thought only the more recent phones could like s21, s22, s22 and s24 but might be wrong. But your battery will last the same length of time regardless of what charger you use. You just my shorten it's lifespan faster with the higher wattage.

I understand, but currently, it takes over 2 hours to fully charge, and that's a very long time, so super fast charging to me is very valuable.

In terms of your specific device. The difference would be just the 45w charges it faster. No charger can put more power than a device can hold so how long it lasts won't change. For how much faster, that's complicated and depends on a lot so I can't give numbers of times.

The 25w charger should say "super fast charging" when connected and the 45w should say "super fast charging 2.0". Oh and the 45w would probably need a special 5a cable, usually included in the box of that charger

Technically the 25w charger would make the battery last longer over multiple years of use since it doesn't put as much of a strain on the battery. Though the best option for that is to turn fast charging off entirely. As johnz said, limiting the charge to 80% and not letting it go below 20% would do more benefit than a 25w charger would do.

Personally I'd say get the 45w for fast charging then limit the battery to make it last longer over years of use.

Ah I see i just realise your talking about a tablet. I charged mine today an older tab a from 2018 that takes over more like 3 hrs to charge from 15% but I've never fast charged it always used the 15w charger. That way the battery still good at holding charge 6 years later. With my phone I have 3 chargers 15w, 30w and 45w i only use 45w if I really need a fast charge which is rare. Mostly I switch between the 15w if I'm not leaving house or the 30w for a faster top up. Sure fast charge if you don't want to wait but in long term you will shorten your batteries lifespan to point you end up leaving it plugged in to use it. Lithium batteries suffer memory effect. So if you don't slow charge them once in a while they forget how much charge they can hold so your battery drains faster. We are stuck with this limitation until new battery tech comes on scene. That's why EV cars battery packs are shot after 3 years of fast charges
