If the wifi dropping out issue is what you mean by design flaw, it really isn't a big issue. I haven't had a drop out in the 3.5 months of ownership beyond the first day when setting up. Once I knew not to hold the bottom left hand corner tightly in landscape orientation I have had no further problems.
