Hi there.  I'm on my 2nd tab a.  I mainly use it for playing golf clash.  I experienced zero problems with the previous model but when playing Golf Clash on my 2019 model it crashes for no apparent reason.  It goes to the desktop with no icons visible for up to 5 seconds and only than can I attempt to rejoin the game.  I've flagged this with support at playdemic who created Golf Clash but they have had no similar reports.  Any ideas of why this is happening and any suggested fixes would be very welcome.

Hey @Hoss21

We'd like you to clear the app cache, as this tends to fix minor bugs without deleting personal data. You can do this by heading into Settings > Apps > Golf Clash > Storage > Clear cache. If the issue persists, we'd like you to tap on Clear Data.

@Hoss21: To resolve this issue, please head to Settings > Apps > Search 'webview' > Android System WebView > App Details In Store > Update. Follow the same steps for Google Chrome, and you should be good to go. Please note that If the Update menu is not available, please tap the Enable button to activate app update.

Android System Webview does not appear in apps. Attempting update in play store sticks at pending.

Apologies. Can see it by enabling system apps. Update still hanging on pending in play store.

If the update is still pending, uninstall Webview updates: Settings > Apps > Search Webview >Tab Android System Webview > Tap more (three vertical dots) > Uninstall updates. After this, update Webview again: Settings > Apps > Search Webview > Tab Android System Webview > App details in store > Update.

Have successfully updated webview. Email problem had disappeared today. Golf Clash issue predated the current Webview issues. Will advise if update solves this problem. Many thanks for your help. 😁👍
