No battery mode about Galaxy tab active3

I've interested about the no battery mode in Galaxy tab active3.

I want to use this tab without the battery, in the car.
When turn-off the engine, the electric supply is stopped from the car.
At that time, this tab can shut down in safe?

Shutting down before turning off power could lead to file corruption.
