It can send but not receive email. Most of the web fixes suggest deleting the storage and cache from the Email app. Tried that with no success. Have also tried deleting account and re-setting it; no joy. Anyone any other ideas?

Are you using the stock email app? Have you checked your incoming server settings with your email provider? Do you receive emails on a different device such as a PC or laptop?
