New A8 Tab. Refuses to start up. Charged. Help or return ?

Hi new A8 refuses to charge or start up. When I take it off charge it's just black screen . Start button does not work. And won't both button reset. Put it back on charge the charge circle shows lightning bolt at 12 o'clock and not showing more charge over time. The flashing samsung page shows up but doesnt a totally load . Have I just got a ***** one ? Return ? Thanks

This happens if the battery is flat and you try to use a PD charger. There isn't enough energy for the tablet to negotiate power with the charger. Try using a Samsung branded charger or a non PD charger

Thank you niraj. I am using the charger delivered with this brand new Tablet A8. I have tried other Samsung branded charger but with no success. Thank you for your help

I had success by using a slow charger. To be fair if its brand new the battery shouldn't be flat. I'd say return it
