Microphone levels too low on new Galaxt Tab S7+

Microphone output is too low, particularly with Facebook Messenger. I have taken the following steps to try to resolve but am unable to improve the sound levels: 

- cleared the app cache 

- deleted the messenger app and reinstalled 

- restarted the tablet 

- tested audio levels in voice record, video recording, Skype and Zoom; levels appear to be higher in these other apps 

Tablet is brand new, bought from Amazon and arrived yesterday. 

Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ (SM-T970) 

Android version 10 

Is there a way to manually increase microphone levels or is there a software fix?

Same problem with my Tab S7. When using Meet or Zoom, the people on the other side say my mic volume is too low. How to fix this ? How to increase the mic volume ?

Did you find a way to adjust the microphone finally?  I have the same problem.  That's not normal for this quality of tablet.

I have installed the app Sound Amplifier from Google LLC. It seems to have solved my problem.

Installing the app "Sound Amplifier" solved the problem with my Galaxy Tab S7.
