I have ordered a tablet and would like to buy a memory card for it. I raised a live chat with samsung to ask what sort of card I could use, they said a microSD card up to 512 GB. When I asked SDHC or SDXC they said no, only SD. Surely that can't be true as a card as SD only can't go that large ? Surely it must be able to take SDHC or SDXC cards ?

All smartphones and tablets take Micro SD cards and not SDHC or SDXC cards.

Surely Micro is just the physical size of the card. if the capacity is above 2GB then it must be a microSDHC, microSDXC or microSDUC ? Is that incorrect ?

Hi @JuriL, hope you're okay. There's no difference between the SDHC and SDXC other than the last 2 letters referencing the capacity on the SD card. If you're still looking for a memory card, you can buy this one but it will be subject to availability: https://www.samsung.com/uk/memory-storage/memory-card/evo-plus-microsd-card-64gb-mb-mc64ha-eu/
