When you reset a Samsung phone @Oor it automatically needs to password associated with it as this is a security protocol to stop someone finding your phone, ejecting the sim card and resetting it to use themselves.
One option would be to visit a Samsung Experience Store as they have specific software to reset it if you can't reset your own password via the 'forgot my password' help pages.
Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁴ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.
The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Hey @Oor!
Have you tried logging into Find My Mobile? You have the option to remotely unlock your Tab and reset passwords from there.
If you can't unlock via Find My Mobile, @BandOfBrothers' suggestion sounds like a good idea. We can reset the Tab at a service centre and remove the account lock while doing so. Don't forget to take proof of purchase for the Tab with you.
