Galaxy Tab S9 stuck on Widevine Level 3

I have the Tab S9 with all the latest available updates (Play Services Nov 23) and cannot get HD video on streaming services like Netflix. DRM Info shows the Tab is on Widevine L3. How is this possible on one of the most expensive tablets on the market? Are any updates to be expected that resolve this issue?

Same issue here. I'm using the S9 Ultra with Netflix and each here and there it comes up with an error message. After that, Widevine L1 is demoted to L3. Only thing that seem to help is to uninstall Netflix, restart the tablet and re-install Netflix. After that it is back to L1. Needless to say that all downloads are gone.  Unfortunately, this seems to also affect e.g. Amazon Prime.
I'm also having an S24 Ultra which doesn't show this annoying behaviour.
Does anyone know what is behind and if Samsung is aware?
