Galaxy Tab s6 lite

I bought this a couple of weeks ago and have been using android devices for many years. There are a couple of issues with links on the apps I am using.

Google search - when i carry out a search and click on a link, it doesn't work.

Chrome - when I click on a link on a website, it automatically opens a new tab. I have checked the settings but can't seem to stop it doing that.

Guardian newspaper app - some of the links on the pages do not work - never had this problem using the app on other devices.

BBC Sport app - again - clicking on a particular story link doesn't seem to work

I feel there must be a particular setting which may be causing these issues. Can anyone recommend anything? If i can't fix the problem, I'll probably return the device as it is frustrating

are you using any adblocking ..blockada ect

have you checked for updates on apps and on system update.

might be a settings somewhere.

have u tried contacting Samsung support via chat for help/advice

I can help but am now back at work full time. so will check my Google chrome

I do not have the others.

have u tried uninstall and reinstall the apps.

have u tried contacting the developer for the apps as some will help u out.

the problem seems to have resolved itself without me doing anything... very strange. It may be that there was an software update which has reolved things.
