Galaxy Tab S6 book cover Keyboad doesn't do accented chars

I have the book cover keyboard with US layout.

But I need to use it to write on different languages like italian and portuguese too.

I can't make it to work correctly and make accented chars

I already put the keyboard to change to other languages, tried to configure as us international, nothing works.

I don't know if I have the latest firmware to it or how to check it as well.

is the Tab software and apps up to date? Are you trying to press different characters when you select different languages?

Yes I don't see any updates pending

when I try to do accented char, lets say "é", I press ' and then e. but the result is 'e
