Galaxy Tab S5 update

I updated my software about a month ago and since then the battery only lasts about three hours and it won't recognise the sim card,even with a new sim card in.

Any ideas???

Clearing system cache clears up a lot of problems after a major update. If that doesn't help with the sim problem use a can of compressed air to clear any debris inside the tab. If that fails the card reader probably needs replacement.

I'm having exactly this problem my tablet is now unusable

I had to back up everything to a memory card then do a factory reset. That solved it.
