Galaxy Tab A6 Needs Pin

I recently turned on my tablet after not using it for over a year. It now says Your tablet is encrypted for security. To start up your device, enter your PIN. Then with a 16 digit textbox below but you can enter any amount of digits. I dont want to factory reset but if it is the only way then I will do it. I've already tried many pins as to what it could be but nothing has worked I am also down to my last attempt. I have tried using findmymobile but when I press unlock it fails

@David289: It sounds like you have enabled Secure Startup on your tablet (Settings > Lock screen and security > Secure startup). Can you recall setting this feature up? If so, the PIN required will be the one you entered at the setup stage, or an existing lock screen PIN that was already in place.
