I have a Galaxy Tab A SM-T580. Since new it takes an absolute age to charge.
This morning it took 3 hours to go from 57% to 76%.
I am using the supplied Samsung charger and interconnecting cable and the tablet was switched off whilst charging was in progress.
Before I get in touch with Samsung Tech Support I just wanted to find out whether this was the norm.
I know its a completely different device but my Samsung A3 (2015) phone charges much faster, using the same charger and cable. (mini-usb plug is identical) so there does not seem to be a problem with the charger.
Android version is 6.0.1 (as supplied) Security patch is 1 January 2017.
