HI there.
I updated my Samsung Tab S, changed unlock to fingerprint and after the update changed to Marshmallow it now refuses to recognise not only my fingerprint but also my backup password. I cant get into my tablet now. Is there anyway to reset it completely?

Hi Shezza!
Does your Tab S prompt you to sign in using your Samsung or Google account?
You can Reset your Tab by turning it off and pressing and holding the Volume Up + Home + Power button at the same time and releasing them when the Samsung logo appears.
Scroll down to 'wipe data/factory reset' using the Volume down button, then press the Power button to confirm.
