Files not showing in secure folder

I have just moved about 24G of data from my SD card to my secure folder. What a palaver that was as nowhere does it say you HAVE to have a pin, password or pattern and can't just use your fingerprint; all it keeps doing is going to the setup screen without one or the other.

Anyway, that's not the issue. The issue is I've just transferred 24G worth of data off my SD card using the "move to secure folder" option under more, as i need to remove the SD card and replace it with a new one.

However, when I browse my secure folder, the files are nowhere to be seen but they have all gone (been moved I presume) from the SD card.

Do I need to set some kind of flag somewhere so I can see these files? If so, where?

I'd appreciate it if someone could assist me here as, right now, I'm stuck when trying to view my files.

I'm using a Galaxy Tab S7 Fe, 128GB, although I'm hoping that doesn't make a difference, with the latest One UI and security patch.

NB: I do have a copy of my important files backed up (copied) to my OneDrive.
