TabletsHello to everyone, i'm writing this post because i have a very annoying problem with my new Tab S4. I bought this tablet to replace university textbooks, so i put in a 256 GB Sandisk micro SD card with a lot of PDFs that i need to read and underline. Well, the problem is that the system doesn't allow me to edit those files, and asks me to create a copy in the device's memory if i want to edit them. This is very disappointing, considering that this tablet targets university students too and its on-board memory is as little as 64 GB. I can't believe that a 2019 € 650 stuff doesn't have such a basic feature, and hope someone could help me.
Thanks!

Hi, this is not a Samsung problem, Adobe change the rule of editing their ,PDF, PDF files are "Read Only. The only way to modify the PDF is by creating a copy of the file. If you just want to annotate it, you can use Hancom Office OR Acrobat Reader and make annotation with your keyboard or with your S-Pen...
In Microsoft Word, you can change or replace the text like you want BUT you have to pay a Microsoft Office subscription on this tablet
Those annotations on a PDF file were possible in Hancom Office application...
If you use Acrobat Reader,
Have a nice day

TabletsThank you for your answer, but I still think it's a Samsung problem, since it happen with the "Write on pdf" app too, which is made by Samsung.

TabletsYou are right you can't wrote nothing with Samsung appli «Write on PDF» if your file is on your SD card BUT you can annotate it in Hancon Office and you can change everything in Microsoft Word as on the following pictures. You can report this error in DEX Application in the section Contact us and Reports errors (google translate sorry)
Here I try it on my Galaxy Tab A because Microsoft Word is working free on it . You can change everything in Microsoft Word
