Bluetooth page turner not working

Heya

Hoping someone can help. I have a brand new Samsung S9 FE tablet.

I use it for reading sheet music via one drive. I have a donner bluetooth music pedal to turn pages.

It connects to my tablet perfectly fine... but then it just doesn't turn the page! I have tried 2 different pedals, on 2 different 2 samsusng tablets (A8 too) and then even bought a different brand pedal and that doesn't work.

I've troubleshooted to my hearts content but it doesn't work. Does anyone else have the same issue recently? Only in the past week has it started.

Any tips appreciated!

Hello and welcome, do you install an app for it to work.
If it worked before maybe unpair and repair.

Heya. I've tried unpairing and pairing again and it didn't work unfortunately..I use it on one drive app. Removed that and installed but didn't work 😞

Sorry unfamiliar with the pedal but assume it just operates as a keyboard input.

Is there a reset for the pedal.

Yes one drive app. I have tried the reset for the pedal, also bought a brand new one and tried a completely different pedal brand and they all don't work.

Also tried on different apps but also don't work.

Strange!

Somewhere on the pedal device, there will be a model number. If it is the "DBM-1", the app you are using is not on the "Recommended Apps" list.

You could try another app to see if it cures your problem.

Same here! I have been using my Donner pedal for a few years on my A7 with no probs, and it has stopped working in the last few days. The pedal works fine with my wife's A8, but her Lekato pedal won't work with my A7. Both pedals have the effect of slightly dimming the image when pressed.
