Tab A tablet 3.5mm jack not working.  Tried contacting Samsung to no avail.  They counld not find the tablet S/N, but it is the same number on the box and under settings. so after 20 mins on the phone speaking to the Philippines nothing could be done.  Why have call centers in countries that cannot understand ENGLISH although the address is Sheffield.  So my wife purchased a box of scrap metal and plastic.  Has any one else had the same problem.

Hi @Gizzystinky

Did you manage to get this sorted? If not, could you give us a little more detail so we can look into this for you?

Finally after looking all way round the web.  I found a possible solution and purchased a replacement male to male 3.5mm jack, non standard one which has 4 sections on one end and not the standard 3.   I understand that the 4th one is for volume control and this works fine.  The is nothing in the manual or instructions saying you need this kind of jack.
