Double Tap to Lock Phone

If double Tap to wake is a thing, why do we not have double Tap to Lock on one UI 1 and/or 2?

Or is it just me who doesn't know where it is!

Our development team is already looking into that.

From what they have told me, to use this feature they would have to delay the single tap recognition (so the device waits for the second tap). It wouldn't be long, but long enough for the app to open from the home screen.

So in the long run this might become annoying for the user.

But they are definitely looking into that! 

I just doubt that it will be added during the Beta.

I understand the point. But at least the sensitivity could be made available on the blank areas on the home page as there is no use for single tap on the screen where there is an empty space.

This way there will be at least something instead of nothing. 

Alternatively, double Tap on the edge panel alone can trigger the screen off. Simple and clean trick?

I'm using One UI 2.0 on my Note 10, and this feature is the only feature I am missing. When will this be added?
