Change the status bar

Over the years, android has moved through a lot of versions, and so has moved the design of the entire android OS and of the One UI. But one thing that hasn't changed a lot is the status bar of One UI. I just think the design is getting a bit old, and we could use some new and redesigned icons, a thicker font maybe? Or a size setting for the entire status bar? It would be nice to be able to adjust the size of the status bar elements and font, and having it actually extend a bit downwards (beyond the camera cutout) to accommodate for those higher size settings. It would help people with visual impairment A LOT. And, of course, would look better in terms of design.
