The option to speed up animations appears to have disappeared with this update, making the phone feel sluggish to speed users.

Only option is to speed up animations in developer options.

Please bring this option back in standard settings.

Unfortunately not. There was a setting to Increase animation speed generally. I forget the actual name of the setting.

It's in reduce animations. it's still there. working fine for me.

Do you mean the option to reduce animations? It is still available in the Settings app > Advanced features > Reduce animations on/off 😉.
