I don't know where, but recently I saw a fan idea for what one ui 8 could look like. One of the features included more customisability in the quick access panel.
Currently, we have WiFi + Bluetooth, media, icons, brightness + volume, device control, smart view + modes, and (optional) dual SIM.
I would love the option to be able to fully remove some of these options, such as the device control, or modes, which I don't use very often. I also think the community would love to be able to separate some of these icons, such as splitting up the WiFi and Bluetooth, or moving volume to one place while brightness goes somewhere else.
Furthermore, I support the idea of resizing the sections. For instance, some people may think that the media player could be made into a 2x2 grid, instead of a 2x4 grid, and allowing the option of putting something else next to it, such as WiFi, also in a 2x2.
Finally, allowing users to add widgets to their control panel would be amazing. Like on the home screen you can add widgets, the quick access panel should be an extension of the home screen. This was already partly shown by making the lock screen support widgets.
