My deep disappointment over the removal of the lock screen widget carousel feature in recent updates to One UI. This feature, which allowed users to tap the clock on the lock screen and easily swipe through widgets like weather, schedule, alarms, and more, was incredibly useful and part of my daily routine. How seamlessly this carousel worked. Not only was it functional, but it also helped users like me stay organized and informed with just a glance. Many of my friends and I found it to be a standout feature of Samsung’s software experience. Its sudden removal has been frustrating, and I sincerely urge your team to consider bringing it back in a future update. It enhanced productivity and set Samsung apart from other Android experiences. #OneUI7.0 #samsung #samsungindia #oneui7.0 #lockscreenwidgetcarousel Screenshot 2025-05-05 225424.pngScreenshot 2025-05-05 225406.png

Why should you tap on the clock, when you can add any widget with the Lock Star module, it's just a bit illogical to have a widget from, say, YouTube Music, when it automatically appears in the Now bar when you start the app, see screenshots

As you can see, the screen is clumsy and unattractive. A functional and attractive lock screen is not illogical.

No, it's not, you can add much more widgets then before, you can change their size, transparency, position, you can do all sorts of things

See for yourself; there is no space on your lock screen, and it's too clumsy. Before, it was just a tap on the clock, and everything would appear. It's not about how many you can add; it's about how good it looks.

And you don't have to add any widget,  you can choose card notification on lock screen and you will have something like this

I don't have any widget on lock screen,  I like it clean,  I  put them up to show you what you can do with the Lock Star module
