I don't know why Samsung removed Dex feature. But I used to love the dex. You could use your phone as a PC in a larger screen using mouse and keyboard. I would suggest Samsung to bring back Dex

Dex in general is not removed. Only Dex app on windows is discontinued.

That's why DeX should be available on Linux. The Windows app, and the other Windows versions of the DeX program, irritate me. Samsung seems to be rushing to imitate the iPhone, but why? I believe abandoning the development of DeX is a mistake. I convinced many of my friends to get the S23 Ultra and S24 Ultra, especially because DeX was something fantastic for them, as they work while traveling. If DeX disappears from Samsung, it will lose its distinctiveness compared to the competition. It's just a matter of time before Apple introduces its own version of DeX in five years and boasts about a "revolution."

I use Link to Windows daily and love DeX.
Problem with Link to Windows instead of DeX for PC app:
- low resolution app streaming.
- windows are not resizeable freely (locked in portrait aspect ratio mostly) for instance using Samsung Internet app via link to PC is locked to portrait mode, can't use the PC screen massive size).

now there is no reason to buy samsung phones anymore, "dex for windows" was the biggest reason samsung was the mobile device of choice in my company... we have about 100 employees who regularly use "dex for windows"... now it's all becoming as cumbersome to use as on other android brands...

"link to windows" is an inferior alternative. apps don't stream at full resolution. windows can't be resized and you're locked to a screen in portrait mode...

so why buy samsung in the future when there's no benefit to it anymore... now samsung won't stand out from the rest of the market anymore...
