Auto Blocker Settings

Hello,

Currently when Auto Blocker is enabled there is no options to add and remove features you want, for example:-

If you want to disable 2G connection you have to turn on Maximum Restrictions.

If you want to install a .apk you have to manually disable Auto Blocker entirely & then re-enable it after install.

Just seperate some of the options or add the option to enable, disable, specific settings.

Thank you

You can turn off 2g without auto blocker. Maximum restrictions just puts a lock on enabling it again.

I see what you're getting at, have each part of auto blocker an option.

But I raise this question. How many people are going to fully understand what each setting does. How many people are going to turn a setting off because it annoys them.

Sometimes forcing users in a certain direction benefits them without them knowing. Sometimes choice can be a bad thing for security.

Eg, yes turning it off and back on again to install an apk is annoying. But you proved you were you when you did that. You then turned it back on. If an app later tried to install another app without you doing it, now it can't.

If you disable just the apk blocker. Yes it's easier for you. But now there's kinda a Swiss cheese hole in your security.

I understand your point however this is easily worked around e.g. - .apk asks for install, autoblocker says no, user is prompted to allow .apk this time only, now the feature remains on, user was able to seamlessly install, security wasn't compromised, settings wasn't adjusted etc. easy peasy!
