What the heck is going on at Samsung in regards to delaying orders???

I ordered a S23 Ultra over a week ago in the standard black colour, it CLEARLY said "in stock" on the website at the time and it still says in stock now yet I've been given nothing but delay after delay, current delivery estimate is now 16th October.

What's going on??? Right now I just feel like I've been scammed as they're basically holding my money ransom.

CS has been completely useless as all they've basically told me after asking about the delays is "dunno it's out of our control.

Absolutely appalling show by Samsung, if they're having some major issue in regards to fulfilling orders then it should be addressed instead of continuing to take people's money and stringing them along with false delivery dates.

Get it together Samsung.

Same here, ordered z fold 5 on 23rd September for designated delivery of 28th September.

The order never arrived and received no updates from Samsung. Their customer service is useless. Samsung need to take a logistics lesson from Amazon...and also act on the genuine concerns of the people who pay their wages.

Yeah they seem to be pretty bad of late with delays of products. I ordered a Watch 6 Classic and it's been delayed until the 8th of October. I ordered on the 6th of September. They sent me a £25 off voucher this time which was nice I guess but it's still late. My S8 Ultra keyboard took so long, I want to say 2 months or more that I also got compensated with a £50 play store voucher. Again nice of them, neither time did I complain in order to receive either. S23 Ultra I bought one day after release and it said it was in stock ready to be shipped out in less than 2 weeks. Sent an email it would be over a month instead. That time I got pretty annoyed however because the website still said they were in stock and able to be delivered far earlier and I had read reports of people cancelling and reordering just to get their phone sooner which made no sense to me. First come last served? They eventually managed to ship it out to me much quicker but again it's still pretty poor. It's clearly costing them these delays and also putting people off in the process. I hope they can fix it. But a lot of their stock is showing long wait times at the moment and that's fine as I know what I'm getting into when I buy. They just need to make sure their estimates line up with reality.

I totally understand and appreciate how frustrating this has to be for you @THECHEESE and the others that have posted in your thread in regards to the delays you are and others have experienced. 

People get excited when ordering a new phone as it's one they've saved up for, or waited for or need a phone ASAP to replace an old or broken phone.

So then to be hit with delays is frustrating especially if the delay is then extended.  Takes a bit of shine off from ordering. 

When I ordered my Samsung Galaxy s²³ Ultra 512gb in Phantom Black the delivery happened next day which has happened with pretty much all the phone's I've purchased directly from Samsung UK. 

One phone did come a couple of days late due to a DPD Courier and Samsung mix up. Samsung compensated me with a money off code. 

I can only suggest you keep speaking with the Samsung Online Shop Team to push for your phone. 

This flagship phone has been launched for quite a while now so I'm at a loss as to why there is such delays especially as you've ordered the Phantom Black version. 

Maybe it's the storage capacity you've chosen ! 🤔 

I hope tou get your phone ASAP.

Long story short they have a system issue at warehouse, some have a said its a possible cyber attack others just IT faults. It's a system issue A not talking to B so it's backing all orders up. I did manage to speak to someone from there dispatch warehouse and from what they said the orders are not matching to customers so they have no idea what products are going to which customer which sounds a absolute nightmare, I work retail so completely understand system issues and that they can go on a while it's why I've been patient but what I don't agree with is that there customer service on phone or online have been briefed nothing tbh and haven't been given any sort of time frame to pass on to us customers. I ordered a Samsung Watch 6 Classic 47mm on 12th September for delivery on 25th which soon turned into 29th and I've heard nothing since, I've phone numerous times and spoke totally there webchat support and everything same answer as they just don't know. Quite tempted to jump on Linked In and find a email for someone in Upper management and find out some answers for us all. Let's hope we start getting some update on email this week

Well said. Delays I can deal with if I'm told beforehand to expect them when ordering but at the moment they're basically ignoring issue and pretending like everything is fine and continuing business as usual.

The complete lack of communication has been terrible, there's no mention of major system issues anywhere when checking out and no emails have been sent explaining why there's huge delays.

They shouldn't be showing products as in stock on their website and taking people's money when they know they can't fulfill the orders for several weeks.

Whole situation is just terrible all around, hopefully it gets fixed soon but I'm not holding out much hope.

A update finally and mine has been shipped!! Keep your eyes peeled on your emails looks like there finally getting through the back log, checking Reddit there has been quite a few people today get a email also which is great news!! 😃Screenshot_20231004_210210_Email.jpg

The absolute worst customer service. Two weeks waiting for the fold5. Ordered 22nd of September. Tracker is still showing processing and the delivery date is still fixed to the 28th of September. No confidence in the CS staff Ive spoken with. No one knows what's going on or can give a clear understanding of what to expect. Very happy to take £1749 off someone but won't offer decent support.

This seems to tie in with information I have received from them in the last week or so.  I am waiting for a replacement of a tablet which was due sometime ago.  I have contacted CS several times asking why it has not been dispatched and received a explanation of a system issue when I pressed them to explain what 'technical issues' meant!

I understand this, it is just a shame they have not bothered to communicate it via other means to keep the customer informed.

I placed an order on 03 Oct (S23+)still waiting for a delivery date. It’s frustrating and as usual CS is worst. Never expected this from a brand like Samsung. Learnt my lesson!! Any advise plz. Email to CEO link isn’t working as well 😔 Thanks in advance.
