Samsung paying off my old device

I upgraded my S21 Ultra and sent my old device back. 4/3 Samsung emailed me saying my order was complete and they would pay my remaining Klarna account (which was on hold) off. 

Imagine my surprise to receive an email from Klarna today saying my next payment was going to be taken. This account should be paid off. 

What is going on? Anyone else in this same situation?

You need to contact Klarna about this, I called them yesterday and they said they'll escalate my issue and contact Samsung themselves to sort it out.

Same!! Called Klara who have put my account on hold again. They said they have had loads complain this time.

I've emailed samsung, they had to cheek to ask if I returned my s21 and I did. LUCKY I stick had the tracking receipt. Also had email to confirm my upgrade was complete and I'd have my account settled.

Absolute shambles this time.

Awaiting investigation now

I have an email saying the process is complete from Samsung. Every year there is just something they mess up.

Thanks to those who replied, at least I'm not the only one in this situation.

Makes you wonder how long it will be before the "device will be locked " messages start appearing on peoples new phones!

Hey just thought I'd update you as I've just received my email from Klarna and the debt is now settled in my Klarna app, hoping your results are just as speedy!

Amazing glad to hear it. I'm still waiting. I'm quite annoyed as this happened. If I had no proof I returned the phone what would have happened I wonder. Not annoyed enough to go Apple but still lol.

Same situation. I got an email from Samsung saying they had received it on March 17 and would let Klana know and it would be paid off in ten working days, let's hope it does as time is up on the 31st. Very frustrating

Same here. They just taken a payment from my bank for the s21 ultra I sent back nearly a month ago. I had a reply saying they were going to pay the outstanding balance .  I don't believe a company can be this incompetent. It  shows total disdain for their customers

I would consider issuing a small claims action. This situation is ridiculous and unprofessional for such a large company.
