Delay my delivery date PLEASE

I thought I would move into my new home in July but it is now August.

 

I have tried Samsung Chat and despite me contacting them BEFORE the despatch date they said they cannot delay the delivery date.

 

I am so STRESSED out by the appalling customer service replies as one said it was due to "security reasons"

Welcome to the Members Community.
Unfortunately it's the case that once the wheels are put into motion, Unfortunately you can't change the order.
What about cancelling the order and just reorder what you want and choose the delivery date

This is a customer to customer forum and changes to orders etc cannot be done here

Hi.

You don't give much details.

If it's a phone delivery and if you are un the UK they will probably take it to a nearby click and collect which could be your local post office which then you can collect with your ID.

The items haven't been despatched

I picked the latest date but realised my move in date to the new property will not be until August so wanted to delay

Problem with cancelling is I cannot guarantee to get that price

It's a shame that when a customer requests a delivery date delayed by a few weeks or so that Samsung are quite happy to lose you to LG :smiling-face:

Normally delivered by dpd, if it is, you can change the delivery date as many times as you require. Once it's despatched, you will be notified, then go to the dpd app or website

It's a fridge, washing machine and a dryer

I cannot take a risk so had to cancel

Samsung are slow with even cancelling the items! 

Note: It hasn't been despatched but a ticket was required

LOL

I'm going to LG...

You can contact the courier, usually DPD and ask them if they can help? Sometimes they can let you collect from their local depot or a shop.
