Can i change the trade in item after purchase?

I purchased a few items early including a ZFlip5, I used a ZFlip3 as a trade-in, but afterwards thought I had an old iPhone 5S.

The question is, if I do not send in the correct trade-in device (assume they check the IMEI I provided) will they reject it?

I tried an online support chat, and they advised it could not be changed, the only option was to cancel and start over, but then i loose a  5% (using the Samsung Shop App) and 10% (Share a link) discount codes.

Sadly Samsung are easily confused and asking them to change an order after it has been placed is fraught with risk. I promise you they would get it wrong and then leave you to sort it out.

I would advise either cancel the order and start again (appreciate this isn't your favoured option due to discounts but does Black Friday offer any better???) or stick with what you've ordered.

Hope whichever you choose you like your new device. 😀

Ok update, I emailed the trade-in team, and surprisingly confirmed it is fine to do so as long as it is an eligible product, if lesser value then of course less value as per the trade in detail.

Hey, do you mind sharing the email id you had contacted to resolve this issue? I have a similar case and the support team are asking me to cancel my order and reorder it again.
