What's a " Title " inside link attachments?

What's a " Title " inside link attachments in this forum? It doesn't display a title if I type in anything.

 Title  does not seem to work when posting link,unless same as  Displayed Text.  I just leave that out, can put a short description or "title" in Text To Display.  If you type or copy a url and press enter the hyperlink is also automatically displayed.  However at times will want to shorten it.

Found out I    can see a   title by  hovering  over link on computer,  take it not meant to display permanently. Does not seem to work on phone though.
