secure folder

Hi :smiling-face:

So I just moved all of my photos from my gallery over to my secure folder because I wanted to make sure they didn't disappear from my phone. What I didn't realise is that they'd disappear from my gallery, so naturally I tried opening up my secure folder, but nothing happened. When I press it, it looks like it is about to open, but nothing happens other than a brief black screen. Sometimes it will say something like "App won't open" and give me the opportunity to either keep trying, close the app or give some feedback, but the feedback thing doesn't work either. And I just want my pics back. If anyone knows what I have to do or has some advice, please respond. Thank you in advance.

Have you checked that the secure folder app is up to date? Sometimes they can bug out if not updated. Try to restart the device. If this doesn't work then try to contact samsung support. Hope it helps👍

How do I check if it's up to date and will this like ruin my photos? And I have restarted my phone twice but nothing has changed yet

No it won't ruin your photos. Try to go into settings, apps, then find the secure folder app, secure folder settings, about secure folder and it should say whether or not it's up to date. You can also check google play store or galaxy store to see if you have any updates available for the app.

So everything seems to be up to date, and it can't be updated. I thought that maybe if I waited a day, something would change, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Thank you for your help :). And I'm not trying to be like petty or something I'm like genuinely happy that you came with suggestions
