Hello everyone,
I got a PS5 and a Samsung 34" ultrawide for gaming. I read somewhere that is not possible to have more than 100Hz over HDMI (which I found really disappointing for a 5/600€ monitor) so my PS5 is stuck at 60 Hz even in 1080p.
I tried with really expensive adapters to convert HDMI 2.1 from PS5 to DP 1.4 on the Samsung Monitor but the situation doesn't change at all.
From PC/Mac I have full 165Hz support without any issues, but my question is: is there a way to het 120Hz from PS5 using this monitor? Will Samsung ever update the firmware to get 120Hz support over HDMI?
Where can I find latest firmware for this monitor? On the download section there's nothing about this monitor firmware.
