Preparing dispatch

I ordered a S20 Fe orange on the 14 of this month and on the 16th of this month, I ordered A71. It has been saying preparing dispatch and nothing else. Just wondering how long does it take and do I need to sign for them when they arrive?

normally it should go out that night I would give samsung a call, you don't need to sign but you need to be in and dpd will take a photograph of your open doorway as proof of delivery

Would I need to be the person to accept the delivery? Or my partner can and they will take a picture of them? Plus would they call me when at destination?

anyone can accept the parcel and they won't take picture of ur partner only ur door. They don't call u when they are near by.

no like aklima says just a picture of the door and it can be your partner, dpd may say on an email that they need I.d but they have never asked for it.
