Hello all! Today i thought id do a different post to what id usually do.
And while the title may make it obvious, its an introduction to me.
Who Am I?
Well, My name is Matthew (Although most of you know me as *UNKNOWNUSERNAME*) and im from Northern Ireland, UK. Im a student in belfast and quite a quiet person, Although once Im comfortable around someone, they may think theres something wrong with me (There probably is), I love alot of things including photography, gaming, watching tv, spending money and spending time with family. I dont go out very often, Id much prefer to sit inside in the heat of my electric blanket🤪. I never thought id have the opportunity to be able to help people, but this community has proven me wrong, and id like to thank everyone thats came along with me on my journey.
My Samsung Members Star Journey
In 2024 (Last year) in around March time I was approached by
@SocietyGirl about testing out a product (Samsung SmartThings Microwave) since they had a few left over after sending them out to their members stars, Then in June, I was approached by someone else about becoming a members star, so of course I said yes. So far, ive tested, reviewed and got to keep:
- Microwave
- American Fridge Freezer
- Washing Machine
- Dryer
All of which are compatible with SmartThings.I have also tested a Z Flip 6, A05, Tablet A9, A56 (but we didn't get to keep these).
Ive been invited to London, Paris and the USA by
@Lucy C and others.
The SMS community is an absolutely fantastic bunch of people, and it feels amazing that I am not only the youngest member of the team, but the only Northern Irish members star. This has been a truly wonderful experience for me, after loving tech just about my whole life. This has definitely been an achievement for me, and its safe to say my family are happy and impressed.
What would I tell anyone else?
Never give up on what you want to achieve. I never thought id be able to achieve this, but nearly a year later its been a fantastic journey, So go out and follow your dreams!
