I entered a contest for a chance to win a place on the huge billboard in Piccadilly Circus, as part of the More Pixels Epic Details.
Not just a small spot, but part of the whole display.
Not only did one of my photos get chosen. But two were picked to display.
Had to be 200mp images with the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
So I was really happy to go and see what my image looked like on a Billboard of this size.
The images that got picked below.
I wondered how they would come out expanded out like that.
I didn't think they were the best images. But the Samsung team obviously saw the potential in them.
To me I was so pleased with how they looked.
What you can't really see is the level of detail you could see on the billboard.
200mp photos look fantastic expanded way beyond I thought could be useable.
Here again, the Galaxy S23 Ultra amazed me. What a great phone this is.
I had a great time meeting the team there. They were really fun.
Fof the whole weekend, they had a photo booth setup, where you could get your face displayed on the billboard as well.
I declined this as I'm not the least bit photogenic and no one wants to see a giant picture of me😂
It was a great time and one I shall remember.
