Help with digital camera ST150F

I have an digital camera that has been stored for a while. I have bought a new battery. When I set in the battery, the camera turns it self on. The screen on the back light up, but no information comes on the screen, no buttons reacts. Tips?

You can try holding the power button for a few seconds and see if it boots up properly. Should that not help, we recommend that you take it in for service. Which you can do via the retailer you bought it from.

Thanks for suggetion, but it did not do the trick. I bought the camera for many years ago and can not remember where. I will try to search on net.
