Dark area on screen

Hello. I’m new here, so sorry but I don’t know where to post this. I’ve recently got a problem with my tv. There is an area in the middle of the screen that’s very dark compared to the two sides. The area started smaller than it is now, and is only getting larger. 
i’ll add a picture to show you what I mean.

Seems it's the back-light is slowly dying.

Do you have any suggestions as to what I can do?

Only thing you can do is have TV sent into service and if they can't repair it. Then you will get replacement tv that is new or money back if it's still under warranty.
