When I bought my Samsung phone, one reason was that it have had the bootloader unlock feature, as I want to be able to extend the life of the phone after Samsungs software support has come to an EOL, but with the oneui8 this will be removed and we users lost our freedom, a highend phone now is a midrange device. How will we be compensated from loosing our freedom to run another OS in the future? For me the oneui8 update will be like I have lost my ownership of the device, now I borrow it for loads of money from Samsung and in some years all I can do with it is just throw it in a landfill.
My next phone will not be a Samsung, sure you loosing the sales of a handful devices will not make you to change your stupid selfish decision, but I hope more people will follow so it will hurt you.
