Hey, I have a G5 monitor and I can't turn on the Eye Saver mode while my laptop is charging. However, the option is available when I use the battery. How can I fix this and why is this happening?

Hi @ShotPlus14
It is hard to say exactly what's going on, but I have sent your questions to our technicians and got this answer 😊
"It should not make any difference if you charge your laptop or not, it should not change the way HDMI or Displayport sends its signal, unless the difference was sleepmode or hibernate for example.
I know you need a “wake” monitor, a signal into the monitor for some settings. Otherwise some settings is grayed out, like Brightness and Contrast for example. Maybe also Eye Saver mode.
If it’s not a bug, maybe you just needs to have a Windows Desktop running on the monitor to enable the settings?"
Hope this can help you somehow, otherwise I would suggest you to contact our support that can give more specific help and support 😊

This happens because Windows have HDR turned on, it turns off when you on battery to save energy (consume more of GPU). Go to Settings (Windows + I ) and find it under System > Display.
