BBC iPlayer Downloads Will be closed down for PC and Mac

Just noticed this,  not that I have downloaded programs on PC for a while.

It will not be possible to download on the web on these devices from 11 March and the app will be closed on 8 April,  can still stream.  Mobile and Tablet Downloads are unaffected but decision taken due to low number of users using the service on these devices.  https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/help/questions/recent-changes-to-iplayer/ipd-closure

Though like you, I have not downloaded any for some time
With the Z Fold 5, I can stream on the go.
With Internet connections being so reliable in places, the only need I have to download now is if I travel abroad. Especially those long flights

Exactly! this is basically the only reason i download anything now, is for flights.
