I was thinking about one thing. What if there were two types of Galaxy Flagships on each Generation? One of them as they are now. Good Camera and all the good stuff to what all people are used to.
What if there was a 2nd one of them for Audiophiles? Just a simple camera for casual photos but instead with an integrated Digital/Analog Converter with Amplifier. Something really good for listening to HiRes Music with good earphones. The phone should not be meant to make photos and videos and be creative with visual content but more for sound things. Listen to HiRes music, maybe with the possibility to use it as an external Sound card and stuff like this. Maybe make music with it you name it.
Im not someone who needs a good camera to make photos and videos and upload them to social media or whatever. I'm someone who loves to listen to music and find new music online and primarily I use my phone for it. Now i need to buy an external DAC to have the best music experience possible for my headphones. It would be a dream to have a smartphone that has the possibility to listen to HiRes Music inbuild. Simply just everything more focused on listening to music and maybe creating music. Samsung Galaxy S24 Audiophile Edition. No Camera madness, Sound madness!

Plz Samsung make it happen ♥️

It's too much work for a too small audience. They wouldn't.

Not big enough for Samsung. Samsung only cares if it will boost their sales by millions, not by 100-thousands maybe. This could've been an option in 2014 times when Samsung was still experimenting with projectors etc.
Now it's too late.

If Samsung decides to continue their cost cutting strategy, it will be/ is already.
It's nice to see them bring back the front and back glass design to the A series after switching to plastic in 2019.

Hope they also go back to experimenting like in the old days instead of settling and cutting costs at every corner.

I find your contribution very interesting because I also like listening to music in audiophile quality, be it via the hi-fi system or headphones or my Galaxy Buds2 Pro.

Thanks to the new Samsung Seemless codec, which is also supported by the Buds2 Pro, music can be transmitted from the smartphone in 24-bit to devices that can process this codec.

The source from which your smartphone receives the music data is important in this context.

Streaming services such as Spotify have so far only transmitted music in limited quality. That's why I've been using Amazon Music Unlimited for a while now.

Music is streamed there in HD, Ultra HD, 360° Audio and also Dolby Atmos. The quality is excellent with a corresponding end device. Tidal also offers something similar.

If you are interested, have a look at these posts, which are very informative.

Thx for your reply. I'm using overear headphones. I can't stand the in ears. I tried it for one year but now I got me studio headphones again. I feel its a better music listening experience. I know about the codecs from this xda post. I'll get me and Bluetooth dac for that. That's the reason why I made this post. I will now spend money on external hardware for good music listening. It should not be necessary. My phone should have it in exchange for all the graphic gaming and camera power :smiling-face: miss the time when we used to overclock the sound chip of the 1st SGS. Was fun

Thank you for your feedback signal. I use the Bluetooth receiver from Inakustik to transmit my music from my smartphone to my Denon Class A digital amplifier. In my opinion, it offers excellent quality. Have fun with your music.✌️😊

I don't believe there is a chance, that any major vendor will do this. Maybe a startup, or someone new in the market, such as " Nothing ".

If Samsung decides to split up the lineup, be sure there will be " a gaming phone ", this is where , with a lot of marketing " talk " , they could make more money.

You should keep in mind , Samsung is a company, and their goal is to make, not lose money.

However, the phone you describe, doesn't need to be an S phone. It can be a A one.

Also Samsung , or his developers don't read in this forum. You can try to get their attention there :

And / or , an email to the CEO.
