I bought the Fit3 for my daughter, mainly for its vibrating alarm function.  She is 10 so doesn't have her own phone yet and she has hearing loss so needs a vibrating alarm watch as she can't hear the bell go at school and the Fit3 was only slightly more than a non smart vibrating watch so it seemed like a good option.

I don't want her to get notifications from my phone. She doesn't need to know when I'm getting a call.  So I turned phone notifications to silent and turned of notifications from apps.

The problem is that the alarm does not vibrate if call notifications are on silent, it just puts the alarm on the screen which is effectively useless. This seems bizarre. An alarm is not a call - its an alarm. I want to have an alarm vibrate regardless of my call settings.
