When connected to my car's  head unit  via android  auto  the equalizer bars  for the 63 and 125 hz frequencies are greyed out which affects the listening experience, making the music sound thin.  This happens only in AA whether connected via USB or  wireless, happens with various cars (BMW, Volvo and Toyota  tested so far) but does not happen when connected via Bluetooth (though then I do not get the benefits of AA like  maps, message dictation, etc).

I understand that these lower  frequencies don't work well  with the phone's built in speakers  but shouldn't the system software recognize when AA is engaged?  Who  listens to music or takes  calls through phone speakers if their car has AA?

Have  tried third party EQ apps like wavelet but they only work with  Bluetooth, not AA. Is there  some sort of  work around that will trick the system out of thinking it is playing  sound through the phone and realize it can allow the full spectrum to be used when  running  AA?
